Vista Recycle bin, how much is in it ?

Stupid annoyance with vista, you open the recycle bin and want that warm feeling of knowing how much stuff your just about to delete... XP shows you at the bottom of the window how much is in there but vista ??

Maybe a stupid thing i've missed but please tell me if i can show it without having to do properties

Just highlight all the files and it tells you at the bottom? Alternatively right-click and then click empty recycle bin and it'll tell you there (items and how much space).

that's my main gripe with vista now, it doesn't tell you the combined filesize of the files in a folder without selecting them all

Yup, thats what I ment.. I know I can get it by doing the above but XP had it in the status bar at the bottom. *sigh*

Oh well, format and put XP back on
