I've reinstalled the operating system once this week already, is it okay to do another one ?

I mean this might sound like a stupid question, but it's not doing my hard drives harm is it with repeat operating reinstalls ?

If its about partitioning the drives then do that with 3rd aprty software such as Acronis.

I used to re-install all the time to avoid changing partitons. Now I have windows on one drive, documentson another, music on a 3rd and vidro/tv/movies on a 4th. Far easier.

Plus I keep an image of a clean install of my OS (Vista Ultiamte 64) and will use that rather than install each time.

Anoher thought, are you already changing the partitions sizes but seeing sizes such as 59.9 GB and that is annoying you (used to for me)?

If so grab Acronis and use that as you can specify GB sizes for the partitiions unlike Partition Magic etc.

I have my main drive that I've being swapping the partitions around on, for example, operating system, multimedia, and then another hard drive for games.

then I didn't like that, and changed it all, and again !
