Can you install retail on multiple systems at once, using the same key?

If you can, would everything work the same, windows updates etc.

We have 3 comps in the house, just woundering if this would work. If it doesn't i'll just buy 1 OEM and use it on one comp

yes i have same question,i got 2 pc's my new one and old one , will i be able to install and activate and get all updates for bouth my machines?

One licence one computer
The difference with retail is that you can transfer it between computers. That is to say, you can install it on one of your computers, uninstall it, then install it on your other computer with no problems, all nice and legal.
It also helps us anal types who are always upgrading :D

uhmm ,why cant we get Vista retail from oc.co.uk with few CD keys ,but for some extra money ? i Remmember we could do it with XP couldnt we ?
Nope you couldn't. Remember it's not the CD and packaging you're paying for, it's the licence (and the product key). That's what costs the money.

And I'd prefer a lower post count if it meant people searched the forums ;)
