Vista reverting to non-Aero on Java applications

Hi,

Every time Javascript is used (or at least when an application is opened that uses mostly Javascript) Vista reverts back to non-Aero.

After the application has been closed it does change itself back, so it's not too much of a problem, but it's quite annoying.

Is it my version of Javascript or is this just a problem with Vista x64 in general?

Thanks,
Craig.

Do you mean Java or Javascript? Javascript shouldn't have any affect on Aero since it runs in a browser (mainly). I don't have any issues with Java either.

Seems to be when a program, or a web page makes Sun Java start up (e.g. BT Digital Vault, Limewire, WebCT (WebCT is the web application college uses to submit work).

Hmm, seems that page reverts in Firefox (the WebCT thing) on the login screen, but only when you login on Internet Explorer.

I'll try reinstall Java.

I just left this as it was for a while (reverting to Vista basic style when I accessed my colleges website).

It started to really annoy me as I really don't like the Basic look.

Upgraded today and it works fine :p

That still doesn't fix the fact that WebCT is crap :o

Whoever made WebCT needs to look into AJAX.
