I am trying to run Sims 2 on my duaghter's limited standard user account, but the game only runs in Vista if it is set to 'run as administrator', of course this means that every time she wants to play it, it prompts for my admin password before running.

Is there any way to run it as administrator without prompting for the password every time?

Thanks for taking the time to write all that, but.......unfortunately it didn't help in the slightest, I knew all that anyway, the whole point of setting up a standard account for my daughter was so I could use the parental controls.

I have set her account as an admin account for now so she can play the game, but this means I can no longer apply parental controls to her account, Vista only lets you use parental controls on standard non-admin accounts. Obviously this is less than ideal.

All I want to know is how I can run a program as administrator in a standard account without being prompted for an admin password every time.

Andr3w: That's exactly what i'm doing, the problem is that when it is set to run as admin when in a non-admin account, vista prompts for the admin password whenever the program is launched.
