Hey guys
I've just installed Server 2008 (tweaked to look like vista) as an upgrade from XP pro but I'm having a bit of trouble with a secondary display.
I've got an X1950pro with a 19" samsung TFT connected as the primary display via VGA and an Optoma HD70 projector connected as the secondary display via DVI-HDMI.
Now when ever I have the projector turned on, vista/server 2008 enables like a clone mode where the exact resolution and output of the TFT is shown on the projector even though I have the secondary device set to disabled in the display options.
I use ultramon to control what display is enabled/primary etc which works for a minute until vista/server 2008 decides it's going to clone my display onto the other device. This is causing problems for powerDVD and HD-DVD's because the HDCP thinks I'm trying to copy the video by cloning it on the second display
Is there any way to stop windows from doing this and leaving the disabled video outputs disabled instead of cloning the primary video output?
Thanks
