Vista: Setting up a dual boot after installing.

I recently installed Vista onto a spare HD I had lying about, all went without a hitch. However, I installed it with only the one HD connected. I re-connected my XP drive, but because it wasn't connected when installing Vista I don't have any dual boot options, every time I want to boot into Vista I have to tell the bios which HD to boot from, and vice-versa for XP.

How can I make the dual-boot menu appear?
 
You have to chose which bootloader to use (XP's or Vista's), and then edit it to include the other HDD as an option.

Using the XP bootloader, you need to edit boot.ini on your XP drive.

Using the Vista bootloader, you need to edit it differently. A tool like this makes it easier:

or try pressing f8 as your machine posts. if your bios supports it, you should get an option to choose which drive to boot from. :)
