I just done a clean install of Vista 64 Home Prem, which is networked via a DLink 655 router to a Windows XP Pro machine.
Both are set up to the same Workgroup, both have there own IP Addresses (192.168.0.x)
Now Vista is able to see the xp machine and displays it in the workgroup, where i can access XPs shared folders.
XP does not see Vista in the workgroup and does not show any shared folders due to this.
I have even created a thread on the MS networking forum and they seemed to have stopped replying to me lol

Any help on this is appreciated

I have also tried uninstalling NOD32 and disabled firewalls in an attempt to get Vista to show on the workgroup.
