Vista - Sharing External HDD

Hi guys,

Trying to share my external USB HDD, it's not very quick as it's a 4200rpm 120gb 2.5" ide drive in an integral enclosure.

Network consists of a Vista Ult. desktop and Vista Ult. laptop.
The USB drive is connected to the desktop, works fine.
The laptop can see the external drive under network but cannot access or map to it.
All of my other shares work fine. Internal drive in desktop.

Permissions look fine, just have Everybody with all ticks for the external drive.

Any ideas?

sharing permissions
ntfs permissions

do everyone for both.

Make sure you have password set for each machine. Vista doesnt like machines with no password.
