Bit of an odd request, this one. Not sure if it can be done.
I've been retrofying my Vista to a bygone day when we were all so much more innocent - 1995. I've already done a couple of things, all cosmetic and superficial, and so far my favourite is the Red Alert "Battle Control Terminated" shutdown sound.
However, I was wondering if it's possible to get the system to shut down to an image, and not turn itself off. The image in question is, of course (you haven't really forgotten...)
As it is, any request to shut down just shuts down and turns itself off.
It's a 32-bit Vista Home Premium, on a laptop, if it makes any difference.
Any help much appreciated!
