Vista Sidebar XP

This might be a bit of a daft question. I've reloaded Vista Sidebar onto my pc (xp pro sp3) and was wondering if i can just download additional gadgets seen on customisation sites without any problems? Is there a possibility of conflicts since its essentially a 'dummy vista' app. (AVG antispyware already sees the sidebar as spyware)

its ok I've figured out i have to rename the .gadget file to a zip file to extract the info into the gadgets folders to get new gadgets loaded into the xp version of sidebar
