vista = sound dosent work

i installed vista on my asus f3jc and all goes well bar the sound it hs picked up the driver etc and i eve downloaded the asus auto update (which says no updates available) then it also says 2 devices not recognized in device management so am at a loss...it also dosent play through any speakers or headset..... yet it still pics the mic up..... so anyone know what the problem is.....

The problem is most likely a lack of drivers for the output.

Try the Windows XP ones if your really stuck.

Try going to the asus site, they may have beta drivers (which the autoupdate doesn't pick up) which you could use.

I used the XP64 drivers for my Intel HD sound card when installing the new Vista RC2 64bit, it might be the same for you it's worth a try.

ah thanks cool ill give it a go....

i tried the asus website couldn't find much.....
