vista sound problems

so recently got a new computer, plugged in speakers and no sound.
tried all 6ports on the mobo and nothing, headphone nothing.
any ideas?

also while iam here waht is the best way to copy over custom msn icons?

went to gigabyte downloaded stuff, nothing.
got speakers to test sound out of the headphone jack but thats all it would play, as well as the sound level "beep" noise.
music on myspaz didnt play.

now onto to realtek website.
