Vista SP1 Beta

Just wondering if anyone had tried this new beta thats been floating about. The one I found was all in chinese so I didnt bother. Whats everyones opinions on it? Plus are there any reliable sources to download the english version of the 64 bit one?

Quite a few users on AeroXP forums installations were broken by installing this service pack and with no chance of uninstalling it meant a lot of heartache. So I would leave it for now

I've heard about it but won't be touching it until it's our officially.

My Ultimate 64bit is running great without it tbh

Yeah my Vista is running brilliantly with the 2 compatability / performance packs installed. It was just curiosity really tbh. Not long to wait till the official release if Microsoft stick to the stated release of early 2008.

I haven't had any problems with Vista which seems to run just fine. Is the service Pack going to contain much of importance?

just all the updates so far, no new programs or whatnots.

The invitations to join the official beta program for Vista SP1 have only just come out - those that have access to the MS Connect site should select the Surveys from under the Server 2008 Beta and then select Vista SP1 to accept the invitation.

So as the official beta testers (the ones who get it before the public beta) haven't been playing with it yet - do you really want to use one of the ones "floating around"?
