Is anyone having problems installing & using some programs after they have installed Vista Service Pack 1?

I'm using Vista Ultimate & I did a new, fresh install & did all the updates & installed SP1.

After which...My Creative Soudblaster Audidgy Drivers wouldn't install...Firefox plugins wouldn't install & Outlook Connector wouldn't launch. When I did finally get it to launch & install, Outlook no longer worked..just wanted to go online to solve problem then shutdown.

Anyone else experiencing problem since installing SP1?

I'm gonna reinstall Vista but leave SP1 out.

If you're going to re-install Vista, you might as well put SP1 on there. Chances are that for whatever reason, the installation of SP1 caused problems that won't manifest themselves if it's put onto a clean install of Vista.

I've had no problems whatsoever with SP1 myself. No driver issues, no application issues, nothing.
 
That's the thing. I did put SP1 on to a clean install of Vista. I then couldn't install certain applications & drivers.

Odd I must say.
