Vista SP1

Since instaling SP1 for vista the only change I have noticed is that it takes a little longer for my computer to start up.
What changes have been brought about that required a full service pack as opposed to normal updates?

just lots of updates & performance/reliability packs mainly

plus, ms know lots of people will "wait until sp1 is out before buying windows xxxxxx"

I have found that performance has actually decreased with SP1, and as far as reliability is concerned the only problem I have had is the ATI drivers deciding to crash every so often.

It takes about another 30 seconds to start up for me

use s3 sleep mode, takes about 1/2 second then
