Vista stability

Hi,

I've got x64 Business and when I right click on the desktop the machine hangs and eventually the task needs to be ended. Other niggly little things happen too that make it hang and crash. I did have x86 before I stuck it on with no issues.

It also causes Outlook to crash but rendering in CAD and other programs it handles fine, really wierd :confused:

I've not got Vista at home so never had a play. What can I do to check everything is working ok?

Stability is normally down to driver issues, id check for new releases on that front, do a windows update as well.

if you stype in reliability into the start menu one of the options is a performance log that might give you more information about each crash.

I didn't have Intel driver

must have failed or something

I have stability issues one caused by firefox. Think it must be a corrupt install or something and ati driver hangs in dvd playback sometimes.
Just haven't got round to installing the new ati drivers yet.
