Im trying to organize my start menu in vista but am having a difficult time as not everything in thats in the start menu is showing up in the start menu folder. For instance i want to put all the 'windows' shortcuts, ie windows defender, windows movie maker, windows calander etc... into a single windows folder in the start menu, the problem is, none of these shortcuts are showing in the start menu folder.
Now i can just open the start menu itself and drage the icons into a new folder, but thats annoying, and i would rather find out how i can properly view the shortcuts when looking at the startmenu folder (i have view hidden files enabled and that doesnt help).
Edit: it also appears that when i try to move the shotcuts into a folder, i have to OK activating admin privs to move the file, which is possibly why i cant see them in the start menu folder. possibly hidden to non-admins?
