vista start up processes?

I got Vista Home pre. 32 bit. Just wondered how many processes are loaded on your computers when you first turn on your comp until its just standing ide on the desktop?

Mine was 71 but I have cut it down to 61. how about other members? (you can find out by looking at the task manager).

I still think 61 is still quite high.

40 but that is with Firefox and Outlook running along with Avast

40 is impressive. I have cut it down to 56. When i boot up, I have the following running:

msn
AVG
zone alarm
remote wonder

Does anyone find that when loading firefox, it takes longer than it did in XP?
