Vista task bar colour?

has anyone figured out how to change the task bar colour or how to take out the shortcut arrows on desktop icons (like TweakUI for XP).

Only with Aero: Just right click the desktop then click on "personalise" then
click on "window colour and appearance" there you can choose from 8 different colours and adjust the transparency of Aero with the colour intensity slider.

I'm sure that someone will write a teak for all to use.

Remove the arrows

To change the taskbar colour, right click the desktop then click on "personalise" then on "window color and appearance".

Thanks, but that just changes the window colours, not the taskbar at the bottom.

sorry, you're just not looking properly. Make your background plain white, it might be more obvious then.

It's because it's translucent, what's behind it will make a difference
