All over the world...
Hi all,

Just installed Vista ultimate on my laptop a few hrs ago and have noticed a problem. It seems like my taskbar is kinda messed up and i cant figure it out...i havent really changed any settings for it.

Bascially when i go to open internet explorer or any other windows...it seems like its stuck in a corner etc. The tab ie when you minimise the window...instead of putting them side by side starting from the quick launch buttons...it now has them off the right side of the taskbar where the other icons of programs i have running are kept...if i open say 4 or 5 windows it then stacks them and gives me an arrow up and down button.

Anyone have any ideas as to how i go about fixing this before i have to re-install vista again....

I can get mine to do the same if I unlock the taskbar and drag the quick launch toolbar across the entire taskbar.

Assuming that is why yours is doing it, I'd say unlock the taskbar (if locked of course) and resize the quick launch.

Just fixed it, unticked quick launch then re-ticked it and it seemed to have fixed the problem i was having.

Thanks
