Vista Ultimate 64 and virus programs

hi all, could some1 please recommend a good antivirus/spyware package for 64 bit vista, i have read through lots of threads in this section of the forums and atm tryin nod32..but it seems to have a few errors and no update feature (to get latest defintions etc)..also what firewall would u recommend??

i really wanna be secure and im unsure that i am atm,

edit: these are the errors im gettin in nod

Error occurred while scanning operating memory. System memory cannot be scanned (the kernel service is not running or an error occurred while loading nod32m1.vxd).

Error occurred while scanning MBR sector of the 1. physical disk. Error reading sector.

I am sure there is a 64bit version of NOD32. Failing that, Avast 4.7 pro works for me, or latest AVG. ;)
