Hey guys,

I’m playing with Vista in VMWare, before I finally get round to putting on my main machine.

Today for some reason (Maybe an update?) every time I load the OS up, I’m confronted with a Windows Boot Manager screen? I have to manually select the OS now?

Any idea how I get it back to loading on its own, automatically ;)

Cheers,

SW.

Set Vista as your System root, set boot wait time to 0 secs.
And finally Allow Fkeys. which allows the standard interrupt of using F8 on boot to get to Safe mode etc.

Or there should be somewhere in the uttlity a way of setting boot Defaults much the same as TweakXP Bootmanager, Bootcfg etc. You can even Boot to command Prompt on Vista and do a Bootcfg from there or do a diagnostics and repair from the Vista DVD which will automatically repair your boot config to its default settings.

Thanks for the reply mate :)

...But how do I actually do all that :(
