Vista ultimate install

Im trying to install this on my pc that has xp on it and i dont want to do a upgrade i want to fresh install,any tip`s on how to do this.

I have set my first boot device to cd,vista find`s this and then loads to screen,nothing to say that i have xp on and would i like to delete it and format.
Sorry if this sound`s silly but i dont want to reinstall if i mess up.

at boot up when your pc aks you to press any button to load up the cd/dvd, press it

then go through the menus mate, eventually it will come to a screen where it will ask you where you want to install vista, will list all the Hard drives on your PC, you choose the correct one, (can format at this point if you wish or delete any partitions) then you click on next and that's it, very simple indeed.

i just did a fresh install about 2 hours ago! so far so good! (vista ultimate)

Same as me then,had a blue screen of death so i set my overclock to stock and all whent well second time.

Was in panic mode as it`s a new operation system for me,so far i like it look`s real pimp.
