vista ultimate sleep issues

Hi Peeps,

Can someone kindly enlighten me how I would go about turning off "sleep mode" in vista ultimate...its doing my head in...

What do you mean by turning off sleep mode?

Most of the power/sleep settings are contained from the Power Settings bit in the control panel.

Control panel > power Options > Change plan settings > Put computer to sleep

Plus: go to the "change advanced power settings on that screen and you find more sleep options..

You can stop it going to sleep after xx minutes. Is that what you want?

i rather just deactivate it

I don't think you can deactivate it comepletely (unless you can in the registry), but you can turn off options to automatically put it to sleep. You can also change the Power/Sleep button next to the shutdown menu to turn it off or restart, rather than sleep.
