I have a cheapy Sound Blaster Audigy SE which OcUK kindly supplied me with my build, but unfortunately, there is no X64 driver (and as its a low spec card, Creative are suggesting on their forum that a 64-bit driver will probably not be forthcoming).

Fortunately, I've managed to use the XP 64-Bit driver and sign into Vista by disabling the need to use digitally signed drivers, but this isn't ideal.

I would therefore be grateful if someone could recommend me a suitable Vista 64-Bit compatible sound card. It doesn't need to be anything special, i only use it with 2.1 speakers to listen to some music and watch movies.

Thanks

Audigy 2 and 4 are geting vista drivers

and xfi already have them

but not inpress with xfi yeh sounds is so good and hd audio ect

Just creative never got rid that stupid POP wize crack problem that ppl have had since the first audigy came out

i look at some overclockers other sound cards and think thay have them but there not cheap there was £80-130 range

without being silly, i take it you dont have on-board sound.

I have an onboard soundcard, but it's never worked and I couldn't be bothered to RMA it for a soundcard I wouldn't use :p

Hindsight huh :(

I might try and move away from Creative 'cos their driver support has always been shoddy at best.

Thanks for the suggestions so far!
