Here is a quick question.

I've got a genuine Vista Home Premium disc (obviously with a genuine product key) and a genuine Vista Ultimate product key without the software.

Does anyone know if I can install home premium on a second machine and use the vista ultimate product key to upgrade the OS online? Is that a workaround or do I need the dedicated vista ultimate disc?

You will need the upgrade medium.

Are both the disk and the product key OEM? If they are then you can use the Home Premium disk with the Ultimate key. They must both be OEM though.
