After installing Vista SP1, we are unale to see our Micro disk when plugged in. The disk can be seen from an XP machine.

I've checked the Samrt Card services which are active.

Any ideas?

Ok, he posted this for me but it was my issue.

Basically I got a mobile phone memory stick which is a Sandisk 1GB MicroSD card. I got some thing off the market which is brandless just says 'N30 MicroSD USB 2.0 Adapter'. This works on XP systems and working Vista systems, however on this laptop which is Vista I can't get it to show.

Huddy had a look and my services are fine USB ports are fine, I've tried this also which was something along the lines of copying a USB file in your INF folder and System32 folder (can't find the link I followed) and this still doesn't help.

Only thing I can think of is trying to format the card again in another PC or a Digital Camera or something and seeing if it works, but any other ideas?
