Vista Up Grade

Hi,
I have just build a new rig, ASUS P5KC MoBo, 4Mb RAM, Q6600 CPU, 2 x Seagate 500Gb 32Mb Cache HDD.
I have installed Vista Ultimate on the new rig.
What I need to know is what files from my XP Pro PC do I need to copy over for Outlook contacts And IE7 web link favorites.

not sure about Outlook, but IE7 favourites are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\{user name} user name being what you user name you log onto the computer as.

search ** xp machine for

*.PST/*.PAB file(s)

they contain the contact info then once you have them on vista pc outlook has an import function on a side note you may need to disable the outlook process on the xp machine in order to copy them over because .pst and.pab files are used by outlook and cannot be accessed while outlook is running
