Vista Update Outstanding

I have 1 outstanding update but not sure what it means or does :confused:

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86 :confused:

Shall i install it ? as i am not sure

Has it always been outstanding? If not and was listed with a set of updates it could simply mean that a reboot is required before it can be installed.

Install it, and if it is still giving you problems try downloading the packages you need directly from download.microsoft.com
