Vista upgrade from windows

'm looking at upgrading from windows xp pro x64 edition version 2003 sp2 to windows vista ultimate sp1 x64 but i'm not sure if my system would be up to scratch enough to run it :confused:

Spec:

AMD Athlon 64 pro 3800+
241 ghz, 2.0 gb ram

The aboves what i can currently see on my system when i go into the control panel

It wouldn't put me off using Vista if I'm being honest. just out of interest, what do you use your system for?

Graphics capability is an unknown but you should be okay with 2GB and that processor.

Would it be poss for me to run windows 7? im in the middle of downloading the RC version from the windows website will give that a bash and maybe pre order the full version

Im not sure on graphics card :confused:

The graphics card or chipset define whether you can use the desktop Aero effects. You'll be fine with what you've listed.
