Hi guys,

Just wondering if you guys would give me your opinion. My Dad's got a Vista Business upgrade disc that I can use, I've never used Vista so am quite intruiged about it.

My main worry is how it will run on my PC. It's just a HP small form factor DC7700. CPU: Dual core 2160 @ 1.80ghz, 4gb RAM, 2x 250 SATA hdd's. I use it mainly for media purposes really.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

It should work fine on your computer, depending on driver support for some sound cards, graphic cards, etc.

However, a 32-bit version can only use 3.2 (or there about) GB of your RAM, so you will lose out in the long term.

Thanks for the reply. This might sound like a stupid question but on the CD it says Microsoft Windows Vista Business upgrade. I take it I cannot format my HDD and install Vista straight away - I need to put Windows Xp on first?
