Vista upgrade

Just found an old Toshiba Quosmio F50 laptop in a cupboard - has to be around 12 years old.
Still on Vista - is there a way to upgrade to a newer OS for free? (I still have the Vista key if that helps)
Or should I throw it in the bin?

Works, apart from the screen flickers sometimes (but a change of angle of the screen sorts it - loose connector maybe?)

Think I have an original W7 disc and key that I used previously - do you think that would work again?

I have just ordered an SSD to replace the HDD.
Any ideas on the loose connector causing the screen to flicker - will that be an easy fix?

It has a Centrino 2 CPU P8400, 4gb ram, SSD

I installed W10 yesterday, all installed fine and activated ok.
Issue with the webcab, which I will post in a new thread.
