Hey,
Just bought a new 150Gb Raptor with window for my system just for OS and would like to know if there was a way I can move the users folder onto another drive but windows still know where it is?

Also, Have the vista performance and reliability patches been put on windows update? if not can someone post the links to them and should i install them?

Thanks

Neil

You can now search for the patches and as I'm too tired to look I'll leave that to you <g>

I'm sure there is probably a reg hack to move it but not that I know off. You also have to be careful as Documents and Settings shortcut (for pre-vista compatibility) also points to that folder. The short answer is that I wouldn't move it - it doesn't take that much space up - if you have a ton of stuff on your profile simply move the stuff and then shortcut to it on the desktop!

you can't move the user's folder but there's no reason to. Simply change the location of the documents/photos/download/music etc that are within the users folder
