Vista Vs 3DMark06 DX9c Component

I skipped the part when the install suggested I installed a DX9c component.
Now I cannot launch 3DMark06 because this DX9 component is missing.

Thing is, Vista's obviously DX10 and I don't want to break anything - should I install said component?
 
Just let it get on with it mate you wont break anything :) , you'll find certain games will do the same when installing. DX10 will still be there after & if you want to check just type dxdiag in the "start search" box :) .
