on windows XP, in my computer when i sort by "type" it separates them into types (local drives, cds, network drives etc) and then in each of those categories, it will sort by drive letter. however if i try and do the same in vista, it sorts into categories but then sorts by volume name which i dont want.
how'd i get vista to do what XP does? this is how it seems to sort in XP:
HDD [C:]
CDROM [D:]
NETWORK2 [F:]
NETWORK1: [Z]
but in vista this is how it sorts:
HDD [C:]
CDROM [D:]
NETWORK1 [Z:]
NETWORK2: [F]
