vista windows mail

anyone figured out how to minimize windows mail to the tray and keep it live
i got a small program to put an icon in the tray but it only opens the program on request

not really a solution, but: get thunderbird - it's what I did.

i have used thunderbird for years on xp, but i thought i would use as many vista programmes as i can to avoid clogging it up.
the vista email programme is good enough if i could just minimize it to the tray or have a sidebar gadget.
still its early days for vista

I was going to do the same, but to me, an extra 2 inches on the taskbar is more important than using the MS app. I like Windows Mail, and I would use it if it would minimize to tray. I can't use IE7 though, just has to be FF for me.

know what you mean,i tried again with ie7 when i went over to vista but it didnt last and i am now typing on firefox
