Vista wont accept my password?

No i dont have caps lock on etc & no i didnt make a password reset disk.

Anyway if turning on a hidden admin account so i cant remove it like in XP?

The default admin account is disabled in Vista, unlike XP. As far as I know you'll have to use one of the "alternative" methods I'm not sure we're allowed to link to.

I believe we are allowed to link as it's nothing dodgy you have to have physical access to the PC to reset a password using these methods so..

You can log in with the local admin account using safemode, even if the account is disabled

This is no longer the case in Vista.
