Hi Folks,

I am currently having problems with my media centre pc. I'd like it to stay on 24/7 but when it's not in use I'd like it to sleep. When it goes into sleep mode or I put it into sleep mode the display stops working but everything in the seems to keep running as it was. Ie fans are still just as loud as they normally are when it is running normally.

When I come to wake it nothing happens. I have a mouse and keyboard plugged into it and pressing and buttons on the mouse or keyboard or just moving the mouse doesn't wake it up. The only thing I can do is shut it down by holding the power button and then turning it on again.

Does anyone know why this is happening? It is a fairly fresh install and has been updated.

I have checked the bios and all the power settings for the moth board seem to be fine.

I have checked the details for the mouse and keyboard in device manager and both have the "use to wake up pc" boxes ticked.

Thanks

Matt
