I ran O & O disk check today and it came up with an error on my C: drive. I ran Chkdsk and set it to perform a check/repair upon reboot. What happened is that it seemed to just sit there at the point where it would normally run Chkdsk. I had to insert my Vista disk to repair files before I could boot into windows again. Safe mode and Last good config just looped and rebooted. Now I've tried another Chkdsk and the same thing is happening. Any ideas please. I have 2 Sata 250 Gig hard drives (Seagate Barracuda). The only changes I have made recently are to "enable advanced performance" options for both of my HD's. (This is now de-selected). Thanks.
