Hi

I have just installed Vista 64Bit, booted up on the first time and I installed the video and ethernet drivers. I also formatted one partition, but now I have a problem.

I rebooted the PC, it started loading Vista on the scrolling bar screen. However it just stopped half way through and there was no progress, I tried multiple times, same problem.

Thanks for any suggestions/help :)

I didn't actually think of trying that lol. I loaded up the disk and did a repair (which performed a system restore). So I am now back in and I'm going to try the drivers again.

I have discovered it is my ethernet drivers causing the problem. I installed them and they worked, restarted the PC and it crashed as above. Since I have tried installing multiple times but the PC has crashed half way through install each time.

I am using Atheros/Attansic L1 onboard ethernet. I have tried the latest drivers and some older ones from the ASUS website and I get the same problem with both :(

Any ideas?
