Hi,
I have rebuilt my computer because of a new case. and done a fresh install of vista x64.
My DVD drives show up in vista, but when insert a disk vista says there is no disk in the drive ?
Also if there is a disk in one of my two drives vista wont boot to desktop, as soon as i eject the disk it launch's.
Anyone any idea's.

Thanks

Hello brucey034, try giving the following a go. :)

Type "Device Manager" into the start menu search bar, once the "Device manager" window pops up, navigate down to DVD/CD-ROM Drives and expand it. Then right click on the appropriate driver and go to properties. Select the "Driver" tab and click on the "Uninstall" button and then "Ok" on the following window.

Now restart your system, Vista should then automatically install the appropriate driver and hopefully that will fix your issue. :)
