Vista x64 Temp Reader

Is there anything that will be able to read the temps of my CPU

I've got Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6
E8400
8GB OCZ Reaper
Sapphire Radeon 2x 3870 x2 in Xfirex


and would really like to overclock the CPU, but would also like to be able to check temp under load rather than hoping and checking in the bios and guessing the load increase

Have tried realtemp, coretemp, speedfan, everest home (real temp and coretemp just show static figures no movement speedfan and everest don't even show that they won't read anything)

That's strange, maybe you have faulty sensors.

CoreTemp and Everest work perfectly in Vista x64 for me.

Everest ultimate works fine for me (v 4.20.1170). Your CPU is new though, are you running the latest version of the said apps?

cheers mate will try and contact gigabyte and intel see what they say, you see the BIOS seems to post correctly
