Vista - XP

Hey,

I did not realise i cannot just 'downgrade' when inserting the disc. I have tried to run the laptop from the disc (from boot up) but it does not work

How can one do this?

The laptop should boot a XP disc, check your BIOS.

Are you planning to install XP to a separate parition?

Wanna' get rid of Vista, its annoying. Laptop is quite good (and new) but running slow.

The laptop didnt come with Vista either(its legal, i just ment didnt come with disc) so im guessing once its gone - its gone

i will check bios, but the cd-rom is set to boot first...so no idea what to do

Have you pressed 'any key' to boot from the CD?
Ive noticed that the Windows disks require you to press a key, to get it to go to the CD.
