IMO, it's only worth moving from XP 32-bit to Vista 64-bit. Vista 32-bit is a bit of a sideways move and not worth the hassle of reinstalling everything.
Check that your hardware has drivers for Vista before buying, though I think you'd be better off staying with XP until you buy 4 Gb+ ram and then go with 64-bit Vista. That is if you're using an AM2 motherboard? Some of the older Socket 939 boards weren't supported with Vista drivers from the manufacturers.
Hmmm well i have a shuttle its an older one but i have not long got hold of it
Thinkin maybe i should stick with XP for the time being
My shuttle will only support a max of 2Gig memory
