Well im thinking of moving over to using vista
Never seen how it looks or how it works
So my question is .....

Is it worth going from XP pro to Vista???

IMO, it's only worth moving from XP 32-bit to Vista 64-bit. Vista 32-bit is a bit of a sideways move and not worth the hassle of reinstalling everything.

By all means take the plunge but go 64-bit!

I've got no regrets going from XP to Vista 64bit. Everything feels smoother and i miss all the nice effects if ever i have to boot back into XP :p

Get SP1 installed and you're good to go.

Well currently i have
Amd athlon 64 processor 3200+
But i only have a gb of ram (but looking at upgrading very soon)

Check that your hardware has drivers for Vista before buying, though I think you'd be better off staying with XP until you buy 4 Gb+ ram and then go with 64-bit Vista. That is if you're using an AM2 motherboard? Some of the older Socket 939 boards weren't supported with Vista drivers from the manufacturers.

Hmmm well i have a shuttle its an older one but i have not long got hold of it
Thinkin maybe i should stick with XP for the time being
My shuttle will only support a max of 2Gig memory :(
