hi all ..
i have 3 Pc`s an a x2 laptop`s networked on a netgear Gigabit network .
1 Pc`s Vista64bit
2 Pc`s XP32bit
1 Laptop XP32bit
1 Netbook XP32bit Nlited
now all Pc`s are in the same workgroup
all Pc`s have file sharing turned on with read an write access
all Pc`s are installed with Admin rights @ boot up
all the PC`s can see each other on the network, an come up with icons for them .
there`s no problem with all the XP Pc`s they all network fine an do what i need ..
but Vista64 dosen`t like to be accessed by the other PC`s (comes up with no permissions crap), but will quite happly access an read an write to the PC`s
is this the norm for mixed OS`s networks ?
is there a work around or iam i missing something in the Vista install ??
