Vista64 recent updates and my internet connection.

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if there is a connection or not, but i installed the most recently released set of updates from Windows Update the other day, there were about 80mb or so worth. Since then, i've noticed it takes an age to load any web pages, yet my connection hasn't slowed down any. Some pages take like 4! mins to load, when it used to be like 5 seconds or something.
Did the updates contain some random thing that might be ****ing about it?

Thanks, and i hope im being some kind of clueless plonker, but it just seems coincidental.

Have you ran you AV and Anti spyware? something may have got in under the system
I have all the updates except Office live add in, and my system has shown no changes.
you could always uninstall them all and see it the performance returns
