Visual basic 2008 express edition noob

I have downloaded the free version of visual basic 2008. I was wondering if anyone could point me to some really really noob guides on how to get started, i know some c# coding from my time i was making missions for ST Legacy using mission editor. But thats about as far as i am with programming in any form.

I want to know also a basic game to try and make, i hear tetris is a good starter to do. So tutorials for that would be nice for vb.net 2008.

Also any tips and advise is welcome.

What is the best easiest to make game then?

I did the web browser app which was fairly easy lol. Did a few message boxes atm, through lookin at vid tutorials on the tube.

Well i plan to help a friend who is making birth of the federation 2 fan game and its coded in .net so would need to learn for that reason.

The net is good for tutorials but perhaps TOO good, since i duno which tutorials are best for me and the fact i would much prefer video tutorials that are hands on while learning instead of reading sites.
