Visual Basic commands

Hi

Does anyone have a list of commands typically used for visual basic 6.0?

I'm currently learning it so would be of great help

Also, how easy / difficult is it to pick learn?

VB6 is very old, you should really look at Visual Basic .NET.

You can even download a free copy of Visual Studio 2008 express, which is a very updated version of Visual Studio 6 you'll be using.

There should be a help file from the help menu in the program with a list of all the commands an the ability to click on them for specific info... tho I've not touched VB6 in years.

I'm in the same boat as you, Computing A2 level I guess - and although this is by no means a whole list of commands, it has a few useful reminders in it - I hope it helps

That's a throw back – I remember using VB6 when I was doing my A-levels about 3 years ago – can't believe they're still using it :/

I'd love to say that it takes me back but I'm having to support some old VB6 apps :rolleyes:

If you want it in book form I found "VB & VBA in a Nutshell: The Language" from O'Reilly to be a really useful reference book. You can pick them up second hand for a couple of quid!!

I have a copy of "Visual Basic 6 Complete" from Sybex sitting on my shelf. You should be able to find a copy for just a few quid
